047Up.. down.. up.. down… that was each night for me and my little companion named Teeny Tiny Hill (short for the name from her original owner, Teniesha).

Of course, I could make her sleep somewhere else. Yeah, yeah, whatever. That wasn’t an option. Teeny is my best friend and I want her with me.

So, I bought foam doggie stairs. Soft stairs are worthless for dogs heavier than five pounds.

Here’s my solution. The construction of the wood is simple, 90 degree angles. The workers at the store may be able to cut  it for you.

I painted the wood with a flat paint and stapled carpet to the top.

The stairs are one of the most important pieces of furniture I own.

You can also put a drawer in the back and keep doggie toys in one spot and out of sight.
